Heroes Welcome Home program takes a comprehensive approach to educating REALTORS® and provides them with the tools and resources they need to effectively counsel veterans, including disabled veterans, on their real estate options. There’s no need to highlight the fact that San Antonio is Military City, USA. Its medical facilities, military bases and central location in the country make San Antonio a logistical center for increased military presence. Texas is one of six U.S. states that serve as home base for 54.5 percent of military personnel. San Antonio alone is home to Fort Sam Houston, Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Force Base and Brooks-City Base. Camp Bullis and Camp Stanley are just outside the city. Serving veterans is vital to our community.
This program delivers current and relevant technical information for REALTORS®  to keep them central to the transaction and a resource to military personnel when making housing decisions. It also provides opportunities for industry leaders, brokers and agents to exchange ideas and best practices.
